The Parish of Georgeham incorporates the coastal village of Putsborough with its long sandy beach, Croyde, popular with surfers year round and its' famous Devonshire cream teas. The village of Georgeham was once the home of Henry Williamson, author of Tarka the Otter. The little hamlet of North Buckland completes the Parish.

Much of the Parish is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within a Conservation Area. The National Trust are owners of the magnificent Baggy Point headland, to which visitors and locals alike are drawn like a magnet.
There are numerous gift shops, cafes, pubs and accommodation within the Parish providing excellent facilities that cater for everyone. A regular bus service operates through the villages. It's residents are active and involved in many different organisations.
